Back in the Winter of 1987, Bering Sea fishing boat captain Scott Sperbeck was fighting to see out of the iced up pilot house windows. With a mechanical and electronics background he knew there must be a better way to deice the windows other than the hair dryer he was using . An idea came to mind and Seaclear was born. In 1991, we introduced our first product, electrically heated window film.
Three decades later, Seaclear has become a worldwide leader in window defogging and deicing. A well diversified design and manufacturing company, Seaclear has diversified into many different markets with a variety of products. From heated microscope slides to custom glass laminating, Seaclear has carved out niche markets worldwide. We continue to push into new market segments with our drive and passion for creating new products and applications.
